Section 214
<br> to serve a deadline on the respondent
If there is an order to remove the defendant according to sub-section (3) of section 213, the court hearing the appeal shall set a deadline for the defendant to appear within fifteen days in the format as per Schedule-22.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the court hearing the appeal may, if it wishes, by itself within the time limit as per sub-section (1) or through the court which decided the original case, arrange the procedure as per paragraph-8.
(3) After the expiry of the deadline according to sub-section (2), the respondent may, if he wishes, submit a written reply to the court hearing the appeal.
(4) If the defendant wishes, the court will set a date for the case to be processed, heard and disposed of.
